QuikClot is a sterile traumatic wound treatment to arrest high volume blood loss and achieve hemostasis in moderate-to-severe wounds. 

QuikClot is approved by the US Food and Drug Administration as a medical device under 510K for external use.

In use by the United States Military for in-field treatment of battlefield traumatic wounds, QuikClot is now available.

QuikClot is a sterile, vacuum packed wound dressing with extended shelf-life that once used can be disposed of safely, with no risk of disease transmission.

QuikClot is biologically and chemically inert - harmless to leave applied to the wound until the casualty is evacuated to a medical facility.
