The Inhibitor-QuadBand is a programmable vehicle
mounted ECM device designed to defeat the threat
from Remote Controlled Improvised Explosive
Devices (RCIED).
The
system works over 4 frequencies covering a broad
spectrum of wavelengths.
The system is designed to allow the operation
of the users own communiction and navigation systems.
The
unit is also able to be programmed by the user
via a laptop and USB interface.
The unit is both self-monitoring and self-testing
thus reducing the workload of the vehicle crew.
The Inhibitor QuadBand is ideal for use by military,
police, civil agencies and NGOs to protect personnel
when travelling in vehicles from ever present
danger.
The system is currently under evaluation by the
US Department of Defence.
